These videos assume that the students have Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro (Download free trial here) installed and it is the default program for PDF files on their computer (directions to set it as the default program). It is also assumed that they have an e-mail program installed on their computer (here is a free one). If they do not have an e-mail program, they will have to save the file and then e-mail it to you as an attachment. If you are experiencing blank responses or the students are unable to use the buttons that you created, they are probably opening the files in the Microsoft Edge web browser. For some reason, windows 10 sets it as the default PDF reader.
